Stephen works with clients face to face, online video or in telephone sessions and on a short term or long term basis.
Stephen is a person centred counsellor which means the focus is on your experience and how you see the world. He is not here to fix you or give you advice.
Stephen creates a safe holding environment for you to explore issues that might feel difficult to talk about anywhere else. Everything the patient says is confidential and there is no judgement.
He is experienced working with addictions, both substances (like alcohol and drugs) and behaviours (like gambling) and works with the trauma and the difficult experiences that are often at the root of addictions.
Stephen has experience working with neurodiversity, ADHD and related topics. He is interested in the different experiences people have.
He can help people with relationships and with issues like self esteem and boundaries. Relationships are often a key source of suffering and poor mental health.
Stephen worked in design consulting for many years, helping businesses bring products and services to market. He brings a visual design language to mental health which can help people get a better awareness of themselves.
